Jiro's zero
My Mitsubishi Zero
designed by Jiro Horikoshi
Jiro Horikoshi was born on the 22nd of June 1903 in Fujioka
Japan and sadly died on 11th of January 1982 in Tokyo Japan. He was educated at the University of Tokyo then he started his career at the Mitsubishi Internal Combustion Engine Company Limited. That soon became Mitsubishi Heavy Industries,Nagoya Aircraft Manufacturing Plant. The aircraft that Jiro designed were the Mitsubishi 1MF10 and the Mitsubishi A5M allies code named it "Claude". Jiro also starred in one of my personal favorite films and it's quite a recent one too called The Wind Rises

First ever kit made

That's One Big Model!
The replica Spitfire on the Edinburgh Castle Esplanade as part of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. My dad and I went around Edinburgh for a day out and we went Spitfire hunting and guess what? We found it!
